I have no idea who made this piece of art, which is a real shame since it’s pretty cool to look at. I like the combo of the colours and the fish are great.
It’s interesting how many pieces of art use white (well, grey) horses. I’ve always been a fan of bays myself, but there is that certain mystic about the white horse no?

Saw Stacy Westfall teach a mini-clinic out at the Mane Event in Alberta. I kept hoping she’d hop up on one of the horses and recreate this video.

About two years ago, while living in Calgary, I tried out for the Calgary Stampede Royalty. I didn’t make it, but met some awesome girls in the process. This collection of amazing photos by Angie Smith brought me right back to those days.
I still have vivid memories of riding on the C-Train with hair spray shellacked curls and a cowboy hat.
